2nd term intro

After the christmas break, we are now back to the second term. This term will be another challenge to our criativity, talent and also research. For that, I want to introduce with an artist presentation.

This term, I expect to improve more in my writing and critical skills and also my referencing since that researching is very important in the university.

Bordalo II

Bordallo II is a portuguese artist.

This artist consept is to reune pieces of trash and built sculputures of animals in the streets.

Bordalo has work all around the world doing his sculptures. His sculptures are in Lisbon, São Paulo, Las Vegas, France, London, German and much more!

This artist can really inspire me. More in an artistic way and not so much in a fashion way.

His concept is unique, he can built very noticeable images of animals with objects that we throw away every day. This is also, a magical way to recicle the materials that we are not going to use anymore.

Bordalo has born in 1987, Lisbon and this “garbage” assumes itself as the unusual and unique raw material that Bordalo uses in the construction of small and large scale pieces that he has spread around the world and that, above all, intend to be the vehicle of a universal manifesto.
