Name something you have researched in the past for art, design or media.
I have researched the AW20/21 fashion trends.
Explain how do you researched this
I tried to find the best resourses in the fashion area so that I could have the best and reliable information about trends. End up using the Vogue website, Peclers Paris and Harpers Bazaar which seemed to me trustworthy because they are well known names in the fashion area. Then I started to look at the trends and chose the ones that I thought will stand out the most for this season, and also added a description for each one.
What facts did you discover?
Doing this research I, obviously find out a few of new trends for this season and also had acess to images to support the trends so that we can understand them better. The trends that I discover:
- Use black on black (which means that this color will be use a lot this season)
- Use pieces with natural tones (such as beije, brown and white)
- Leather pieces in darker tones
- Mix red, pink and orange
- Knit cardigans
- Lilac pieces
- Boyfriend jeans
What NEW conclusions did you establish?
After doing this research, I could understand which trends will continue in fashion, also could look at the denim trends which will be very useful for my major project. One of the conclusions that I stablish is that fashion is cyclical, there are many trend that were used years and years ago that are coming back for this season, and this is a fact that happens every year.
