Enitiating texts
The first text that I want to add to my editorial is an introduction to denim, explaining the origin and also the benefits of this fabric.
Text:
May 20, 1873 is the birth of the blue jean, created by Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis, a patent working on putting rivets in men's work pants for the very first time. Denim is the most democratic of all the fabrics and it is still a rebel fabric. It is simple but non-intellectual. It is a symbol of equality and mateirialism. It incorporate the freedom of the west and is traded in closed societies . The next time you see someone wearing a pair of Levi’s® jeans, remember that these pants are a direct descendant of that first pair made back in 1873. That year, two visionary immigrants — Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis — turned denim, thread and a little metal into what has become the most popular apparel on earth. It ages gracefully, yet signifies an obsession with youth. It glories in its ubiquity, but it looks different on everyone who wears it. A pair of well worn jeans tells the story of its owner, a unique dialogue. Other thing that has to be refered is that denim is industrial, cheap and looks good when dirty. It gets old, like us, and then gets thrown away.

In the second section of text I what to introduce and explain the versatility of denim and ways to wear this fabric.
Text:
Everyone has a piece of denim in their closet, that is a proof that denim is the most vertatil fabric. We can wear denim with everything. Also, denim is adaptable to every styles from casual to avant-garde. We can use denim to go buy bread or to a fashion week!
Also, it is important to mentioned that denim can be used in every seasons, this is because of the large number of denim compositions but overal, denim fits good whether it is hot or cold.
For the summer, it is obvious that we do not want to have much clothes, there is a lot of denim fabrics that can be fresh and light, we can use denim in our jackets, jeans and shorts but we also can explore more how we can use denim in not so usual pieces of cloth, such as tops, dresses or even acessories (bags, hair acessories, shoes, etc).
When it is cold, my advice for you is definitely to overlap pieces. If you build a lot of layers in your outfit, your look will turn much more interesting and appealing, we will have more colors, textures and information. Also, I think you all agree with me when saying that dressing in the autum/winter is much more fun that in the summer! In winter we can play with much more pieces and mix them. The outfits automatically turn more interesting, Of course, the part of the cold is not that funny!
In the fifth page (mini text):
The trick of overlapping the pieces is essential in the autum/Winter weather. One piece of advice I have to give you is to overlay coats, something that you don't see much yet and that can transform your look, that is also in the AW20/21 trends!
As you can see. Use denim is always a safe choice. Even for worko or a work interview! We can transform denim in various ways, we just have to use our imagination! Think more about acessories too, using belts and different bags but try to not take the atencion to the DENIM.
Try to make sure you have a really good hook in your first sentence as if it doesn't have that people won't read on. Something more like 'what is more sexy than denim?' 'Is there anyone who has never worn denim?' Could you live without denim?
ReplyDeleteYou have gone with a factual introduction but remember you need to make it exciting to your readership - if this is aimed at a younger audience I think you need to make it a little more exciting!
